Attractive Coffee Table

This table arrived with some scratches and cracks but when assembled is sturdy and attractive.



The first table I ordered was so badly damaged in shipping that the mail carrier refused to deliver it and its replacement was pretty banged up as well. The packaging could stand to be more protective considering some of the pieces are thin wood (e.g. drawer bottoms).



As for the table itself this is a very good quality piece for the price. Assembly is reasonable taking about 1/2 hour to put together. The drawers move smoothly without catching and all the pieces line up properly. The finish is a more of a deep espresso color than a black. This looks like an expensive table from a furniture store and is sure to get a lot of compliments.More detail ...

I have to say i was so pleasantly surprised by this table!!!! I collect all kinds of bunny items and this table is just to die for!! The quality is excellent the colors are rich and beautiful it's simple to put together and the price is right!!! I would seriously buy this table just to have it - it is just that nice and soooo inexpensive for what you get!!!!!!!!! Also- the tray slides off so you can use it as a serving tray!More detail ...

I was so excited about ordering this...

...until I got it. The leg was broken. There were NUMEROUS scratches and defects in the finish. It was uneven in a lot of places but particularly at seams. And the joints didn't really fit together. At one joint there was a gap about 1 cm in width. This is after waiting six weeks to get the item. Apparently they didn't have any in stock when I ordered it and it took 1 month for them to get it in stock. I sent them an email with attached photos of the damage and hope to get a full refund on the item. I'll post an update once the transaction is completed...but for now I would definitely not pay the asking price of $650 for such inferior quality.



UPDATE: Just got off the phone with the supplier. They are going to have FedEx come pick up the item tomorrow and issue a full refund. Couldn't ask for a better resolution to the issue. Highly recommend the seller- definitely don't recommend this item however.More detail ...
